I've been writing professionally for nearly 30 years now. I began doing mini ads for nightclubs and strip joints (anyone remember Star Group?), I've been a ghost writer for an agony aunt (we did make up the letters), I've edited a clothing magazine and I've produced a writer's guide for a department of Her Majesty's government.
I've written press releases, brochures, web pages and video scripts about cellphones, inkjet printers, fibre optics, steel belts, insurance, paint, timber, money transfer and more. I've worked in agencies, in the private sector, for the Government and for myself.
This pays the bills - plus it's a great deal more satisfying than most other jobs I can imagine. But what I'd really like this site to do is provide a showcase for the other side of my work ... and generate more!
